Type of Listening Strategy

Listening for specific information is a common type of  listening especially in testing listening contexts and students need to be prepared for it. The strategy needed for listening of this type is very much unique from other forms of listening.
First and foremost temptation in the minds of learners of listening to English is to listen and understand everything. Well there are some strategy to listening. The strategy is

1.      The first strategy is to be familiar with the questions. The questions can help the listener in listening.

2.      To get a general idea of the listening beforehand. The questions can be used as a springboard to get into the context of the listening which would facilitate the listener in understanding the text in a better way. The case would be different if they listen without any idea of what they're listening.

3.      The listener can predict what kind of information they need to listen in order to complete the task. That would help them to decide what to listen closely.

4.      Moreover the listener can use the words from the question in order to guide the listening. These words would help the listener to locate where they should listen closely.

The conclusion

i have another ways to listening . The first way is keep focus with listening. The second is if the speakers will be start to listening we should read the question on the paper and try to understand what is the meaning. The third, if you can’t get the answer move to the next question.

·         Tyler                            : Steadfast,kind, never give up. Because when Tyler get cancer he never give up and always keep positive thingking.

·         Tyler’s mother             : Kind, steadfast and patient. Because she never tired to take care of Tyler.

·         Tyler’s grandmother    : Kind. Because she always help everything for Maddy and Tyler

·         Tyler’s brother : Irritable person, but actually he is Kind. Because he was jealous when all of people cares about Tyler.

·         Tn Perryfield               : Irritable , empathic actually he is Kind. Because he was so disciplined

·         Samantha                    : Kind and Intrepid. She was cares about Tyler

·         Alex                            : naughty person. He always mocked Tyler

INTRODUCE

Well. I would like thanks to ALLAH for everything that is given. After that I would like thanks to MISS LINA MARLINA who has given me a special opportunity to report about this movie. The title is LETTERS TO GOD. This movie inspired by story of reality.

SYNOPSIS

Tyler one of the people get cancer. Tyler have a brother. Beside that Tyler have a mother who love him. Although Tyler can’t feel the love of a father. Because his father had died. But he never give up. Tyler live in comfortable environment. Tyler have a friend. Her friend name is Samantha. Samantha is Tyler’s classmate.

            Everyday Tyler write a letter while looking at the sky. Yes Tyler always write the letter at porch while looking the stars and hope God heard his prayer and hope. Everyday he always entrusts his letter to the postman who pick the letters in his area. Tyler always prepare his letter with the hope that his letter would submitted to God. Tyler was suffering from cancer but he didn’t want look weak. He also study at school, although sometimes have to undergo various operations and kemotrapi. But Tyler never complained, he didn't  want to see her family sad. Tyler mother worked as a nurse in a hospital therefore sometimes Tyler in foster care by her grandmother. His brother ever felt envious because his mother is more concerned with Tyler than he. One day his brother angry with his mother and Tyler was hear his brother conversation, but at the time his brother apologized to Tyler. Then Tyler ask his brother to wrote a letter to god. His mother read a letter that was made Tyler's brother ,Tyler's mother was aware that he had a child who needs affection not just Tyler. The postman who always took the letter from Tyler confused where the letter would be delivered because Tyler wrote LETTERS TO GOD.

Then the postman was given advice by a friend to deliver the letter to the church. Arrive at the church pastor said that the letter should be saved because God chose the postman to listen to the outpouring of Tyler. One day Tyler had to surgery and after surgery Tyler situation is getting Better and doctors allow home all excited. after that Tyler offered back to being a kipper by his coach soccer. Tyler's mother was give permission , after the game is over Tyler passed out and had to be taken to the hospital, Tyler condition is bad  and Tyler died. His family feel sad. Then the postman give some suggestion .The suggestion is create a mailbox that is named LETTERS TO GOD

MORAL VALUE

From the film we can learn much more. One of them is never give up. Because life is to be continue no matter what happen. There’s can be miracle if you believe and most importantly, god knows what we need instead we want.
