3. What are you going to do in order to studying essay writing successfully?

            Essay writing is one of important subject in English department. Each student must be able to write an essay. As well as you know, before we made an essay we must know about paragraph structure. It can make help you to make a good essay. Everybody has a trick to make an essay easier.

            There are many tricks that I have to study essay writing successfully. First, I learn and remember many vocabularies because without vocabulary we will obstruct to write an essay. Second, daily exercise. That is the point. If we want to study essay writing successfully, we must be able to exercise every day. I try to write short paragraph before I make an essay. Third, I am not afraid to try. According to me, to be a good writer do not mention about what you write, although it is right or wrong because everyone has a mistake. The last is looking for some references. References can help me in order to study essay writing. I know that, searching and reading some references are very boring, but it is the most important point before we make an essay.

            In addition, we must have a trick to make an essay; I have some experience when I made an essay. For the first I wrote an essay, I must get the main idea. It is the important thing because if I have not the main idea, our essay will not focus on one topic. Then, I started to make an outline. It is a very useful tool to avoid repetition in my story. When I made an essay, it is better to have the outline – introduction, content, and conclusion. After that, it is time for me to write. Write an essay based on what I focus on. Next, I read that essay by myself. After I read by myself, It would be better for me to give my essay with my friend and ask her/him to correct my spelling or grammar. The last is I revised my essay again. Finally, my essay is ready to be read by other.

            Do you want to be a good writer? Of course, be a good writer need big intentions. Do you have intentions? What should you do to be a successful writer? You should think about that. Based on what I write, that is my trick to studying essay successfully. I am sure you have some trick too. Now, this is your turn to write an essay.

2. What are the benefits studying writing in your life, academic life, and society life

            Writing is one of the ways to express what I feel about something. I write on a piece of paper, on social media, printed media, and others. For me writing is a hobby. Do you know write something can be used as a job? Of course, it can be used to collect some money. For example, working as a journalist. I am sure you know about journalist, right? For the first time, maybe journalist consider that writing as her/his hobby. Finally journalist start to know that writing can give her/his some money.

            There are some benefits studying writing. First, write an essay help me to be patient, careful, and focus with the topic. The aim of write something is to increase my knowledge because in writing I find details explanation. Second, writing is closely related to the brain, how to keep the brain to think positive? The answer is by writing. Express what I think through writing. In this habit, the brain will be continued to work, and if we write scientific article, the brain will be working again in collecting various references to write. Third, by writing my personality will be more wise and polite because I learn a lot and also will continue to learn, and develop what I write. I am not only learned and take faidah, but I also learn a lot from the writing style and format that references my writing. These cannot be separated. A little more I am sure I would be interested and influenced by the style of language. Fourth, writing will generate my new ideas. By writing, I would think and continue to develop my knowledge and my ability. New ideas are generate only from active thinkers, constantly learning, and working hard to the developed their ability. The last, writing is a media for our communication with others, the media to convey what I want, to spread knowledge what I have, and invite others to join and lead them to think. By writing we can make others cry, laugh, and smile.

            There are many benefits in writing that I could not explain one by one, but from my explanations above can conclude that writing has many benefits. The benefits are not only in academic life, but also in the other field. So, what are you waiting for? Grab your pen and book. Start to write something. 1.            Write your experience in studying writing

I am a part of English Department state university of Padang. I am a student in K2. Last semester became the second semester for me. At the time, I studied many subject. They were reading, listening, introduction to linguistics , and also paragraph writing. Paragraph writing is a new subject in the second semester. My friend and I studied with Mr. Saunir and Mrs. Fitrawati. At the beginning of meeting, Mr. Saunir gave some introduction about paragraph writing, and also Mrs. Fitrawati.

In the second meeting, I started to study basic of paragraph. Ms. Fitrawati explained about paragraph structure. What is topic sentence, supporting sentence, and concluding sentence. In contrast, Mr. Saunir asked us to write free paragraph. For the first time I wrote a paragraph, there were difficulties. I lost my idea to write that paragraph. I did not find the topic sentence. I also did not know what I am going to do. Not only about paragraph writing,  Mr.Saunir and Ms. Fitrawati also taught about essay. They taught how to make an essay. Although, make an essay is not easy, but I must do it. In addition, they always gave us assignment to write an essay for each meeting.

When I tried to make an essay, I followed some suggestions that I ever got from my lecturer. I am going to catch the topic sentence. After I got the topic sentence, I started to get the supporting sentences. It means, I read some references to make the topic sentence to be through and to prove that paragraph. I wrote some supporting details to develop and support the main idea of paragraph. At the last of a paragraph, I put concluding sentence. The aim of  concluding sentence is to restates the topic sentence with different word, and then I gave the reader important point to remember. As a result, I was success make an essay.
