INTRODUCE

Well, I say thanks to ALLAH for everything that is given. After that I would like thanks to MISS LINA MARLINA who has given me a special opportunity to report about this movie. The title is LAST SONG. This movie tell about love of a child to her/his parents.

SYNOPSIS

Ronnie's and her younger brother, Jonah's, parents are divorced. They live with their mother until this summer they are sent to live with their father in a small town on the beach. Ronnie resents her father and has no intention of being friendly or even talking to him for the summer. But after meeting a handsome guy and beginning to fall in love, Ronnie starts rediscovering her love for music, something she shares with her father. Reconnecting with music revives a kinship with her father which proves to be the most important relationship she may ever experience.

PLOT

Steve and her wife have two children. Named of the children is Ronnie and Jonah. Ronnie is a beautiful girl and can play piano. They lived in New York, But at the time Steve and her wife divorced. So that, Steve moved to his village and lived alone. On the other hand, Ronnie and Jonah lived with her mother in New York. Since that time Ronnie hate her father because she think her father left her. In New York Ronnie always make mistakes, like she stole in shop. In the summer Steve ask  Ronnie’s mother to accompany her children to his house , he miss his children. Jonah’s mother accompany her children to Steve’s house and Ronnie’s mother talk to her children that Ronnie and Jonah will spend their holiday in summer at Steve’s house, But Ronnie didn’t like it. At the village Ronnie’s spent her time with her new friend. In there, Ronnie met with William. William is a rich man. Beside that, Ronnie and William have some habit. They like to protect turtle. William and Ronnie meet everyday and suddenly they make relationship. Since that time Ronnie always share some story with her father. Ronnie and her father began closer. Ronnie didn't hate her father like yesterday. One day when Ronnie and William waive a turtle into the sea, suddenly Ronnie's father fainted and was taken to the hospital. In hospital the doctor said that Steve's cancer getting worse. Ronnie Shock after she heard what the doctor said. Ronnie didn't know that her father got cancer. So, everyday Ronnie take care her parents and she lived with her father all day long. On the other hand , William leave Ronnie because he's continue his study to Columbia. Ronnie spend her time with her father with play piano together. her father make a song, but the song could not be continued because her father passed away. Finally, Ronnie completed the song and play in the church as proof of his love to his father.

COMMENT

This is a wonderful film about mending strained relationships, and making past wrongs right. It shows how love should really be, in a parent relationship.
